2017 Syrah
94 points and Editor's Choice - Wine Enthusiast.
This bottling is just starting to show its age, but is thrivingly complex right now. Aromas of dry-aged beef, damp wood piles, dried violet and pepper-spiked teriyaki lead into a tightly wound palate of boisterous blueberry, mushroom and savory miso flavors. - MATT KETTMANN
92 points Purely Domestic Wine Report
The nose is well defined red and blue fruits with integrated spice and notes of orange. The palate entry is compact and firm crushed rock, black pepper leading to a core of supple, ripe plumb and brown spices. Nicely put together. Drink 2022-2027. - DOUG WILDER. PDWR.
